I looked at that comic and thought . . . "That's Greg and Liz, but they live in Texas now and there's no WAY their place is that small" Then I looked at the date of the comic.
On the box room . . . garages are good for that but they tend to NEVER get unpacked, so the "box room" is probably better.

I have no garage, and my basement is a wet basement. So, really, I lose.

That's my point though . . . short term you lose, but long term you have an impetus to unpack faster so you win . . . you win in spades. I've lived in my current place for 2+ years and my garage is STILL not unpacked.

Ok, that's fair. Some of our boxes are from closets in the apartments that had that problem, really.

Fortunately, my house... also lacking in closets.
