1) Christmas is just one religious holiday of the season, of one religion of the United States. (obvious point)
2) I thought Christmas was about, you know, the birth of a saviour. Or at the very least, a time for the family to gather and get those nice warm fuzzie feelings, and presenting presents. I guess I'm failing on the part where your STORE should be worshipping with you.
3) Look around already. It's plenty Christmas centered. No, seriously, just try turning on your TV at any time during the month of December, there's like a zillion shows telling you about Christmas, or even Christ.
4) THE THING YOU ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT IS A COMMERCIAL INSTITUTION, COME ON.
I'm sorry, I just can't get past this... it deserves a big "WTF??" from me.
As for a more serious point, I give many kudos to Sears and Target for ignoring the whinging. I know Target's on some people's "naughty" lists for allowing one of the pharmacists to make a personal decision, but honestly, that was them leaving him to rule with his own conscience. It's not a store-wide policy to not dispense the pill, it's a store-wide policy of leaving it up to each person. I find that commendable! And I find more commendable that they're ignoring this total crock of a boycott from really stupid people.
