"There is a logic to it, though it's not the McNamara logic," said Stephen R. Sestanovich, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations who worked as a planner for Mr. Wolfowitz. "McNamara took the job to expiate, and Wolfowitz is taking the job to vindicate. That's a big difference. For Wolfowitz, it's meant to be going from strength to strength."
As for the nomination itself? Yah, ok, whomever thought the World Bank wasn't corrupt before... you're gonna have to accept it now. For those who thought it was, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Wolfowitz has proven himself over and over to be an insane zealot whose religion is that of American domination. I remind those who doubt of New American Century, his plea to put America into the position of dictatorship to the world in this century. Putting him in the World Bank is only a statement (despite that article's dancing around this point) to say, "Hey world, this is America. You are PWNED."
