wild wacky politics

So with the poisoning of Viktor the contender (vs. Viktor the incumbant) in the Ukraine, I had one overwhelming thought:

Ten years from now, this will be the blockbuster movie of the year.

Anyway, while you were paying attention to that part of Europe, some zany Dutch decided to make a pirate radio station .... at 1100 watts from a 100m antennae. They were heard as far as Italy! Pictures of the antennae here.

Oh, of course they got in trouble. But man, I give kudos for effort there. In fact, I'm craving my "Pump Up the Volume" DVD again. Actually, eyebeams, mind if I bring that up?
