Sweet.
Meanwhile, The US military has activated 10,000 Army National Guard troops to go to
Iraq and has put 5000 more on alert for likely service ... Soon we're not going to have a defense military left on US soil. But wait, aren't they supposed to be protecting our freedom? PLEASE DO THAT.
I went to a "Banned Books" thing this week with Wandi, which was very cool, but why I'm bringing this up: one of our local old school politicians, Tom Flaherty, spoke. He's pretty funny, very drole, and read a poem that was moreso. I really wish I could remember its name, because he introduced it as "This is a poem that gives me hope in these times," and about the fourth or fifth line is, "I want to see us fight a war that protects our safety of anarchy." There are times I love Pittsburgh. :)
