For the folks here for NYE (slog, ralph, blues, etc)

Ok, catching up on the LJ stuff, do we want to schedule Malcolm's RPG wishes for that Friday night? He's not hot on board games, but does want to run or play an RPG game while here. :)

This way we can do NYD a lot more free form, a day that's always been more conducive to board games anyway.

whoa, this offends me.

</td><td valign="top">You are a geek. Good for you! Considering the endless complexity of the universe, as well as whatever discipline you happen to be most interested in, you'll never be bored as long as you have a good book store, a net connection, and thousands of dollars worth of expensive equipment. Assuming you're a technical geek, you'll be able to afford it, too. If you're not a technical geek, you're geek enough to mate with a technical geek and thereby get the needed dough. Dating tip: Don't date a geek of the same persuasion as you. You'll constantly try to out-geek the other.</td></tr>

Uhm. Don't be a fucking leech. If you need expensive toys, go out and get a fucking job. I don't care that you're female and "can land a male geek". That's just being a fucking leech. Thank you, drive through.

(This is not to imply that unemployed female or male geeks who are currently dependent on their SOs are under this scolding, I'm objecting to the generalization of the quiz.)
