Anti-Flag. Been going through my head since I woke up, they played that as the final song. I had so much fun, only almost got into one fight (after some jackasses behind me screamed "WHITE POWER" (among other things, and poking at us) behind me at the ACLU lady speaking just to be dipshits, so I barged right through them, elbowing... surprised they didn't jump me. Heh. I'm sure given that crowd they were not very popular anyway.
Then we hit 80's night at Ceremony for much goodness and LOTS of dancing. Ironically, I ended up moshing at the club (rather than at the show), but it was safer for still-healing arm there. :)
Then to EatNPuke, where I drank about 3 liters of liquids, and talked politics, racism, the different protesting groups in town, anti-war, etc with some cool people. Oddly, it looks like I'll be going to an ARA (Anti-Racism A-something) thing at some point because Shannin wants to go, but feels uncomfortable (ironic as she's black, and feels edgy in the all-white crowd), but would feel OK if I went with her. They live in my neighborhood too, so I gave them my number for hanging out purposes.
Guess my life's about to get weird.
Wrap up from last night too... Henry Rollins said sooo much I wish I could just quote. Because it's what I've been saying, but he says it so much better (and angrier) than me. If you ever have the chance to go see him, do so.
Bleys birthday party was great. I got to talk to a lot of people I haven't really had time to hang out with in an age and a half, ended up coming home at 7am as a result.
And the best part about this weekend... I'm remaining sober. Think I'm going to try this sobriety thing for a while now. AND! It was great to see Howard again. Pictures coming soon!!
