Kestin already has her own blog. As of tomorrow, there'll be a zillion pictures up I'm told. For those of you who want to keep an eye on such things, there'll be news of her kept there as she progresses through life. (I know that some of you are more inclined for that than others.)

As for me, I'm feeling better today. I woke up this morning, and my body has already started to look like my body again, as opposed to a pregnant body that had the bottom fall out of it. I'm still achey and the stitches hurt, but I'm definitely stronger. But most of all, I am phasing back into life and starting to get a move on with getting back on track with moving forward, as opposed to the stasis I've been in the past two months.

For instance, I'll be signing my new lease tomorrow at 2pm, and probably gathering up my new futon and love seats sometime tomorrow or Friday. I start moving into my new apartment this weekend! I'll do a call out when I get to the point where I want to move furniture, since I'll definitely need help with that. Probably next weekend!

Also, today I went to get sushi and sake. And now I'm at the Beehive, and have been drinking caffeine again. Mmm, removing all the restrictions on my diet. Woo!

Now, if I could only walk like a normal person again. :)

Current Mood: chipperchipper

Thanks for the link. And, you will walk normal again, someday.

Yay Gwen! Go get 'em, tiger!

The kid's blog is adorable.
In a very weird coincidence, the blog's background is the exact same color
I have for you on my f-list.

It is not at all a surprise a baby you made has a blog already. Not at all.

Yay for being able to live your life only for *you* again :D
You need thrown a vice party. Heh.

You know, I can finally come down and visit DC again now. :)

I think the old lady walk took about two weeks to go away for me ... you *will* walk normally again some day, neverfear!

I randomly met the adoptive couple today at Panera. It was totally out of the blue, and very movie-like. They seem very excited, and well they should be.

Glad to hear you're doing well. Sushi solves everything.

Wow, just went back and read your birth story. I think you are the strongest person I know. Congratulations on a healthy birth, a beautiful baby, and a beautiful new adoptive family. :-)

That's all so awesome. It must feel great to bring so much joy to other people, but it must also feel great to get back to your life. Sushi and soft cheeses, deli meats and caffeine, and whatever other things are forbidden during pregnancy!

Well, it's not like I eat deli meats under normal circumstances... :)

But for the rest of it, yup!

She's adorable. What a beatiful family.

Glad to hear you're feeling better and enjoying the lack of dietary restrictions. You'll get there on the walking. :)

as I'm a sucker for babies, I syndicated Kestin's blog to LJ here kestinalyssalin. Kestin was already taken as a username unfortunately.

Just figured I'd mention, in case someone asks you.

Oh, cool! Thank you!
